I agree the maroon is too dark for your house. The Cherokee red, which is similar to Tile Red, was used a lot for concrete floors and sometimes for stained exterior wood structural members. A sort of turquoise/aqua for window trim was popular at that time, and may be an option for you, perhaps for the door if nowhere else. Dull colors that would look drab for clothing or an interior can look smashing on an exterior, especially one with that has a lot of interesting shadow lines like yours has. The triangles sound interesting, can you post better pictures? FLW was more about form and contrasting natural materials than color, so don't despair that your color choices are limited. This looks more Usonian (FLW 1940s-50s) than Prairie (up to 1935) to me, but that photos are so dark and hard to see details, and there are similarities. I would repaint in a lighter color similar to the original concrete-something like the warm greys Librarydesigneye is suggesting, or maybe a bit lighter. It will be very difficult to remove the paint without damaging the concrete, and than you will have a huge problem. Too bad the concrete trim was painted-total maintenance problem now.
